Kinship Summit 2026

One Agency. One Platform.
Many Voices, Better Outcomes.

Not just a learning management system—it’s a capacity building, coordination and improvement process.

A Comprehensive Training and coordination Platform for Child Welfare Agencies

This is a comprehensive training and coordination platform for child welfare agencies that aligns leadership, supervisors, frontline staff, caregivers and kin, parents, and youth around shared practice and outcomes. The platform delivers role specific, continuous learning; centralizes essential tools and resources; and directly connects learning to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) through integrated assessments, scenario based rubrics, stakeholder surveys, and performance dashboards.

By transforming baseline and ongoing performance data into real time, actionable insights, the platform provides a clear, system level view of strengths, gaps, and progress across the agency. This approach ensures continuity of training and practice across roles, builds shared knowledge and accountability, and drives data informed improvement tied to core child welfare outcomes: safety, permanency, and well being.

The platform/portal is a way to move from fragmented information, responses and learning to coordinated practice—without adding burden to staff. The platform uses data as a tool for learning and alignment, not compliance alone:

Assessments

Measure knowledge, skills, and confidence before and after training, helping identify growth and remaining gaps by role.

Surveys

Capture feedback from staff, caregivers, parents, and youth to surface lived experience, satisfaction, and system barriers.

Dashboards

Aggregate results across roles to show agency-wide trends, strengths, and areas needing attention.

Engagement Insights

Data on completion, pacing, and application helps leaders understand how learning is translating into practice.

Cross-role Comparisons

Reveal where misalignment exists between leadership expectations and frontline or family experiences.

Data-informed adjustments

Guide updates to training content, coaching focus, policy clarification, and resource allocation.

Policies, job aids, forms, and community links—kept current and searchable.

How Data Drives Improvement

With baseline data, assessments, scenario rubrics, and stakeholder surveys, it turns performance and feedback data into action through real-time dashboards that illuminate strengths, gaps, and progress across the agency. The result is training and service continuity across roles, a shared practice knowledge, and data-informed improvement tied to core child welfare outcomes: safety, permanency, and well-being.

Assess → Learn → Practice → Review

Pre/post assessments and scenario rubrics measure knowledge and skill adoption by role.

Listen to Stakeholders

Short, accessible surveys for staff, caregivers, parents, and youth surface lived experience and system bottlenecks.

See the Whole System

Dashboards show needs and risks, training engagement, knowledge gains, survey sentiment, coaching completion, and practice indicators—by region, unit, and role.

Act on Insights

Data triggers content refreshes, targeted coaching, policy clarification, and resource allocation—closing the loop between learning and outcomes.

How It Works

Assess

Baselines via self assessments, needs assessments, previous outcome data, pre-tests, Impact surveys, scenario rubrics, and short surveys.

Learn

Role-specific pathways with examples, job aids, and practice labs.

Coach

Supervisors and workers guides and observation tools reinforce knowledge, skills and abilities.

Review

Dashboards show what’s improving and where support is needed.
